Shrimp with green onions



Bengalis love adding shrimp to their vegetables. It ups the experience of eating the vegetable and makes it  interesting. 


2 tbsp mustard oil or any oil of your choice
1 tsp nigella seeds(Kalonji). Skip if you don’t have any.
1 large potato, cubed 
1/2 cup shrimp, halved
1 bunch of green onions, sliced 
Salt
1 tsp turmeric pd 
2 green chilies, halved

Heat oil, add the nigella seeds, potatoes, salt and turmeric. Cover and cook for 6-7 mins. Next add the shrimp and fry for 2 mins. Now add the remaining ingredients, cover and cook till potatoes are done and everything comes together. Best when served with some rice.
