We first tried this dish in a village in Rajasthan(India) and fell in love with its simplicity. These beans are available in Indian stores that keep fresh vegetables. Look for bright green ones.
2 tbsp mustard oil
2 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cumin seeds
2 cups finely chopped cluster beans( guar, gavarfalli)
1 tsp chili pd
1/2 tsp turmeric pd
Salt
1/2 tsp ghee
Heat oil, add garlic and fry till golden. Now add all the ingredients except for ghee, cover and cook on a low to medium flame for 15 mins. Top with ghee and serve with rice and daal.
