Sponge Dosas

 



Soak in water for 5-6 hrs: 1 cup rice,

1/2 cup Urad  dal

2 tbsp Tur dal

1 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi)


Soak separately for 5-6 hours: 1/2 cup Sabudana (sago) add water until 1” above the level of the sabudana


Grind everything together with enough water and some salt and ferment over night. The consistency should be pancake like that can be poured.

Heat a non stick pan, add a ladle full of the batter. Cover and let it steam for a few minutes. No oil is required for this dosa. It is cooked on one side only on a medium flame.  The other side cooks by steam. 

Serve with a chutney of your choice.
